Celebrate Life

Hi everyone.
I am sharing a double page layout with photographs from our daughter's 16th birthday celebration using beautiful Prima papers.

For this layout I stenciled onto the right and left sides of the layout using a script stamp and three different colours of Finnabair Icing Pastes together.

There were a lot of flowers to fussy cut and combined these cut flowers with other flowers.

Chipboard were heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

A pretty layout which I love.

Until next time!

My Warrior Cry

Hi everyone.
I am sharing a recent double page layout created as Brand Ambassador for Penelope Dee
using the beautiful "Artisan" collection.
Even though this is a predominantly masculine range, it is versatile enough to use for a feminine layout as well.

The photographs on this layout are of one of my nieces in South America when she was
Miss Grand Paraguay competing for the Miss Grand International crown in Vietnam in 2017.
Her plight was to stand against deforestation and to protect a certain
South American bird from extinction.
This was her "warrior cry", something that she felt very strongly about.

I stenciled onto the left and right left sides of the layout and then, using a different stencil,
added light paste over the other stenciling.  I then added copper gilding flakes onto the wet paste,
setting it aside to dry completely.  Once dry, the excess flakes were brushed off.

Chipboards were painted in acrylic paints.

I hope that you like this layout.
I would like to encourage you that, wherever you go in life,
I hope that you have the courage to stand up for what you believe in,
even if it means standing alone.

Until next time!

Travel Adventure

Hi everyone.
Today I am sharing a double page layout done as Brand Ambassador for Penelope Dee
using the beautiful "Postcards" collection.

I love the old, heritage feel of this range and so used some photographs from a family visit
to Paraguay quite a number of years ago.

The chipboards on this layout were inked with Distress Oxides and then stamped them with the corresponding stamp.  I then rubbed some stencil ink in places and then left it to dry and get a sticky feel to it.  I then added some gold gilding flakes onto the sticky glue, leaving for a while before brushing off the excess.

I added some distress oxide onto either side of the layout by placing the oxide
onto a craft sheet, spraying with water and then picking up the diluted oxide
with some plastic wrap and placing it onto the page until I was happy with the effect.

Gold micro beads were added for texture and effect.

I hope you like this layout and feel inspired to go and create something of your own.

Until next time!
