Hello creative friends

I am sharing a grungy layout with you all today 

as Design Team member for 2Craft Chipboard featuring 

some of the beautiful chipboards in their collection as well as 

papers and embellishments from 13arts' Mr Handsome collection.

I prepared the chipboard pieces by first painting them 

with brown paint.  I then added blue and gold metallic 

flakes to the corner pieces and lightly rubbed the frames with gold wax.

The bulb and title were painted with gold paint.

I added stamping around my layout as well.

Once I had added everything to my layout,

I combined gold ink and gel medium together 

and stenciled onto my layout, dragging the product 

with a spatula around my main composition 

as well as along the edges of my layout.

Once the product was dry, I added Copper Glitter Ink

on top of the gold as well as onto the bulb and title.

I am sharing a new layout as Design Team 

member for 2Crafty Chipboard with you all 

today using papers and embellishments from 

13arts' AURORA collection.

Beautiful pinks, purples and greens make up 

this collection which is perfect for a magical layout.

I prepared the background of my layout by stenciling 

with modeling paste and a small star stencil 

around my main composition.

I painted my chipboard pieces in gold, 

amethyst and a combination of both.

Splashes of diluted gold paint as well as white ink

completed my layout.

I am sharing my new Design Team layout for 13arts

using the beautiful MAGNOLIA DREAMS collection.

We will be in our Spring in just over a month so

I decided to create a romantic, floral

layout for that "Spring feeling" and the

yellow and white daisies are perfect

for that.

I stenciled onto my layout using white modeling paste.

I added Amber Color Glow to white modeling paste 

to stencil around my main composition.

Yellow watercolour paint was lightly added 

onto the white stenciling to bring in some colour.

I cut elements from the velum page, the 

cut-out sheet to frame my photograph as well 

as ephemera embellishments.

Hi creative friends.

I am sharing a new layout with you all today 

as Brand Ambassador for Penelope Dee using 

the gorgeous new CHELSEA collection.

I prepared this layout by tearing and 

layering papers from the collection.

I then cut out strips of paper as well as embellishments 

from the cut-out sheet to frame my photograph.

Once all my embellishments had been added to my layout,

using a lilac metallic wax together with the stencil and 

a large brush, I stenciled around my main 

composition to give it a subtle, metallic finish.

Hello creative friends

I am sharing a new layout as Design Team member for 13arts

created as inspiration for the August Mood Board Challenge.

This is a fun way to explore different colours/themes

 that you might not always choose and so give you 

an opportunity to venture out of your comfort zone.

Be inspired by this new mood board, 

create a project of your own and then submit it onto 

INSTAGRAM only using the #13artsAug22.  

There is an amazing prize for the winner 

who will also be invited to Guest Design for 13arts.

I used one of the papers from a previous 13arts 

collection and stamped around the edges of the paper 

before stenciling onto the background of my 

layout with a combination of gel medium and 

Pearl Color Glow.

I coloured my chipboards with a combination of 

different 13arts Color Glows, each one mixed with 

liquid acrylic medium.  

The resin pieces on my layout were painted with 

grey. brown and pink Color Glows and then, 

once dry, lightly brushed with glitter ink.

I lightly brushed the rest of my embellishments with 

glitter ink and then added splashes of white to 

complete my layout.
