Hello creative friends.

I am sharing my new layout as Design Team member

for 2Crafty Chipboard using some of their 

beautiful chipboards as well as papers

from the 13arts MAGNOLIA DREAMS 

collection.

I used one of the large clock faces on my layout 

to frame my centre composition.

I began by painting the clock in pink paint 

and then lightly heat embossed it with an 

embossing powder which is a combination 

of silver and copper.

I applied the same process to the  

polaroid frame which I used on my layout.

I heat embossed the flourishes with silver embossing powder.

I heat embossed the stems of the floral branch in silver 

and the flowers in the silver and copper embossing powder. 

I applied copper glitter ink to the chipboard flowers 

as well as to other elements on my layout.

The title was heat embossed in silver embossing powder 

and I then applied the copper glitter ink over the top, 

wiping off the excess so that the ink would 

remain in the lettering.

Hello creative friends.

I am sharing my new layout as Design Team 

member for 13arts using paper and embellishments 

from the beautiful QUEEN OF THE NIGHT collection.

I prepared the background of my layout by stenciling 

with modeling paste and leaving it to dry completely.

I applied the gates from the velum sheet onto 

the chipboard wings with gel medium 

and allowed them to dry before trimming the edges.  

Once I had secured them onto my layout, 

I added watercolour paint onto the wings on 

both sides of my photograph.

I added pieces of ephemera, flowers and other 

embellishments around my photograph.

I hope that this layout has inspired you to 

use these beautiful 13arts products.

Hello again creative friends.

I am sharing my new layout as Design Team 

member for 2Crafty Chipboard using some of 

their steampunk pieces for my masculine layout

and featuring papers from the 13arts 

Mr Handsome collection as well as 

13arts products and mediums.

I painted all chipboards on my layout with 

black gesso and then, once dry, I painted them 

with a combination of liquid acrylic medium and 

13arts Goldstone Color Glow.

I then lightly rubbed them with copper wax.

I layered these chipboard pieces together 

with ephemera from the Mr Handsome collection,

adding splashes of colour once the layout

was complete.

Christmas in the heart

I am sharing a new double layout for Penelope Dee 
using the new CHRISTMAS STAR collection.

I prepared this layout by cutting papers from the collection 

to form the background for my photographs and embellishments. 

I then stencilled onto my layout with 

platinum crackle paste, leaving it to dry 

completely so that the cracks would form.

My chipboard embellishments and title were 

painted with golden moss paint, wiping off 

the excess on the words to show the details.

I completed my layout by adding elements from 

the cut-out sheet and splashes of diluted paint.

Hello creative friends.

I am sharing a new project as Design Team 

member for 13arts ~ a steampunk, industrial 

mixed media mini album using 

the INDUSTRIAL ZONE collection.

I love beautiful floral collections, but this masculine 

collection has drawn me to it so many times and 

I thought I'd make use of the full collection in a 

mini album before I receive my parcel 

with all the new collections.  

I am so looking forward to that!

I prepared the book of the album as well as 

the pages and flaps and then covered them 

with papers from the collection.

I then prepared the background of the pages 

and flaps with the following steps, making sure 

that each product was dry before 

adding another ... 

~ stamped with various 13arts stamps,

~ applied a combination of Smokey Quartz 

Color Glow mixed with fluid acrylic medium 

with a spatula,

~ stenciled with modeling paste,

~ stenciled with gel medium combined with 

Andalusite Color Glow,

~ applied Copper glitter ink with a spatula, 

and then

~ applied modeling paste around the edges 

of some of the papers.

I painted the resin pieces on my cover with 

black gesso and then, once dry, added a 

combination of Red Bronze Shiny Powder added 

to clear wax, covered each piece completely.  

I then highlighted the details with silver wax.
