Your smile

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing my latest project as Design Team member
for 2Crafty Chipboard with you all today using
beautiful chipboards from the collection as well as
cut-outs from the Penelope Dee "Chelsea" collection.

I altered the chipboard decorative panel by first
painting it with brown acrylic paint.  I then applied a product
from 13arts called Rusty Bronze Powder here and there
and then added the Rust Reagent to the powder
to allow the rust to form.

I wanted to add extra pieces of rust onto my project
so I placed liquid acrylic medium onto a craft sheet
and added the Rusty Bronze Powder to the mixture.
I then added the Reagent to the medium and powder
and left it to dry in the sun and for the rust to form.

Once it was dry, I broke pieces off and tucked
them between my cut-outs as well as onto the decorative panel.

I painted the chipboard leaves with Jadeite Color Glow
from 13arts mixed with liquid acrylic medium and then,
once dry, I lightly added copper wax around the edges.

The chipboard floral sprays were painted with
brown acrylic paint and then lightly rubbed with
copper and lilac wax.

The title was painted with the same green Color Glow
and then rubbed with copper wax, making sure that the wax
coloured the embossed wording.

I hope that this project has inspired you.

Salt water therapy

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing a new double layout as Brand Ambassador
for Penelope Dee with you all today using the
new TIDAL FLORALS collection.

As we approach Summer in our part of the world,
this is such a beautiful collection ~ with the soft blues,
sandy browns and beautiful embellishments ~ to match
any beach themed project.

I cut and layered papers from the collection and
adhered these to my background together with
some ribbons and my photographs.

I coloured the chipboard sea elements with light blue
paint, making sure to rub the colour into the
recessed areas of the chipboards.
Other chipboards were coloured with a light brown ink.
I added the chipboards and cut-out embellishments
to my layout.

I love these acrylic sea anenomes.  Aren't they beautiful?!

I had this piece of picket fencing in my personal stash
which goes perfectly on my layout.

I hope that this layout has inspired you.

Our story

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing a new project as Design Team member for 13arts.

For this project, I altered the tag book set into a
hard cover mini album, combining them in my album
on a "hidden hinge" system and decorating them
with paper and ephemera from the AURORA collection.

Once I had added the tags to my album,
I cut paper to fit the tags and then
stenciled onto each one with a combination of
gel medium and Alexandrite Color Glow.

Once the stenciling was dry, I added Old Silver
Acrylic Glitter Ink to my tags using a spatula.

The resin pieces on my front cover were painted with
green paint and then, once dry, dry brushed with white gesso.

Here are a few close-ups of the tags in my album ...

I hope that this project has inspired you.

Precious

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing another layout for 2Crafty Chipboards
with you all today featuring some of their beautiful
chipboards.

I painted the flourishes and the larger polaroid frame
with blue paint and then lightly brushed them with a
light yellow paint.
I did the opposite with the smaller frame.

The hanging hearts were painted with the
light yellow paint.

The title was painted in pink.

I hope that this layout has inspired you.

Love with all your heart

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing a double layout as Brand Ambassador for
Penelope Dee with you all today using the
new GARDENIA collection.

For this layout, I cut and layered papers from the collection
to form the backdrop for my photographs.
Once I had added my photographs to the layout,
I layered them with elements from the cut-out
sheets as well as chipboards from the collection
which were coloured with Frayed Burlap Distress
Oxide, wiping off the excess to give contrast
to the colours.

Here are some close-ups of my layout ...

Thanks for stopping by.
