Greatest moments

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing a new layout as
Brand Ambassador for Penelope Dee
with you all today using the gorgeous
new EXPLORER collection.

I prepared the background of my layout 

by tearing and then layering some of the

papers from the collection to my base page. 

I painted the chipboard pieces with an
orange acrylic paint which has a gold
undertone and then layered these around
my photograph, together with elements
from the cut-out sheets.

Splashes of the same diluted paint
completed my layout.

Hello again creative friends.

I am sharing a new project as Design Team

member for 13arts ~ a grungy mixed media 

canvas featuring 13arts products and mediums

and elements from the Art Book Vol 4.

I love using and blending mixed media 

products on my projects and this 

one is no different.

I covered my canvas with black gesso 

and then, once dry, I applied modeling paste 

using a spatula as well as stenciling around

 the edges.  Once all product was dry, 

I stenciled onto my canvas using a combination of

gel medium and black gesso.

I also added a combination of Tanzanite 

Color Glow and white gesso and added

 colour along the top right and bottom left 

corners of my canvas.  

This blue gesso was also used on other

 elements on my canvas.

I also diluted the gold Shiny Powder with 

water and applied this to my canvas, 

spraying with water to allow the colour 

to move.

Resin embellishments were painted with

black gesso and then, once dry, were lightly brushed

with white gesso, adding diluted Shiny Powder

at the end.

I painted the paintbrush with black gesso, 

stenciling onto the handle and lower down and 

then painted it with the blue gesso mix, adding 

white gesso and Shiny Powder once all

product was dry.

I cut elements from the Art Book and then 

arranged these around my main composition, 

together with flowers and resin pieces.

I am sharing my new layout as Design Team 

member for 2Crafty Chipboard with you all 
today using some of the beautiful chippies 

from the collection.

I painted the Moroccan panel with brown 

copper paint and then cut it up to use in 

different places on my layout.

The bird was also painted in the brown 

copper paint and the branches and clock hands 

were painted with an avocado green paint.

I painted the title in the brown copper paint as well.

I layered my chipboard pieces with ephemera 

and flowers and then, once my layout was 

complete, I added splashes of copper 

and green paint.

I am sharing a new layout as Design Team

member for 13art using the beautiful

new MEMORY LANE collection.

I created this layout with a photograph 

of a friend's new-born granddaughter.  

I just couldn't resist the opportunity to use 

this beautiful photo on a layout.

I stenciled onto the background of my

layout with Bordeaux watercolour powder 

added to gel medium.

I painted the resin pieces with the same 

Bordeaux powder added to liquid 

acrylic medium and then, once dry,

I lightly brushed them with white gesso.

The chipboard pieces were painted with Old Gold 

Shiny Powder added to liquid acrylic medium.

I surrounded my photograph with ephemera

from the collection as well as flowers.

Hello again creative friends.

I am sharing a new project as Brand Ambassador 

for Penelope Dee ~ a canvas using the 

new AMORE collection.

I prepared the background of my canvas by 

painting the lower half with black gesso.  

I then applied and stenciled black sand texture 

paste onto the lower left and right edges 

of the canvas, allowing the paste to dry 

before covering everything with black gesso.  

I then added eggplant as well as blue paint, 

spraying with water to allow the colour 

to move through the paste and drying 

inbetween each colour.

Once it was all dry, I lightly 

rubbed the paste and the edges of 

the canvas with silver wax.

I then tore papers from the collection 

and secured these to the top half of 

my canvas in a layered effect before 

adding elements from the cut-out sheet,

layering them with flowers and resin

pieces which were painted with

 black gesso and paints before rubbing

 them with silver wax. 

 

Chipboard embellishments were painted 

with the same paints and rubbed with wax.

Splashes of the paints and white ink 

completed my canvas.
