Hello creative friends.

I am sharing a new project as Design Team 

member for 13arts ~ a steampunk, industrial 

mixed media mini album using 

the INDUSTRIAL ZONE collection.

I love beautiful floral collections, but this masculine 

collection has drawn me to it so many times and 

I thought I'd make use of the full collection in a 

mini album before I receive my parcel 

with all the new collections.  

I am so looking forward to that!

I prepared the book of the album as well as 

the pages and flaps and then covered them 

with papers from the collection.

I then prepared the background of the pages 

and flaps with the following steps, making sure 

that each product was dry before 

adding another ... 

~ stamped with various 13arts stamps,

~ applied a combination of Smokey Quartz 

Color Glow mixed with fluid acrylic medium 

with a spatula,

~ stenciled with modeling paste,

~ stenciled with gel medium combined with 

Andalusite Color Glow,

~ applied Copper glitter ink with a spatula, 

and then

~ applied modeling paste around the edges 

of some of the papers.

I painted the resin pieces on my cover with 

black gesso and then, once dry, added a 

combination of Red Bronze Shiny Powder added 

to clear wax, covered each piece completely.  

I then highlighted the details with silver wax.

I love making mini albums as there is so 

much creativity that goes into one project.

Hello again creative friends.

I am sharing my new layout as Design Team

member for 2Crafty Chipboard using some of

the beautiful chipboards from 

the collection.

I prepared the background of my layout by

stenciling first with gold crackle paste

and then here and there with 

modeling paste.

I painted the clock face and lampposts with

black gesso and then lightly heat embossed 

them in gold.

I used the negative of the chipboard title

and also painted it with black gesso,

but added more gold embossing powder

than the other chipboards.

The chipboard flourishes were completely 

heat embossed in gold.

Light splashes of white ink as well as 

diluted black gesso completed

my layout.

Christmas to remember

Hello everyone.

Can we really believe that another 

Christmas is just around the corner!

Today I am sharing my new layout 

as Brand Ambassador for Penelope Dee using 

the new CHRISTMAS STAR collection, 

a beautiful collection for preserving all 

of your precious Christmas memories.

I layered the paper with the large wreath 

onto the red and white striped paper and then 

used cut-outs from the collection to 

frame my page and photograph. 

I painted the chipboard title with green paint

and then lightly heat embossed it

in gold embossing powder.

The Christmas baubles were lightly painted 

with a copper paint, wiping off the excess 

in order to display the details.

Once my layout was completed, I added 

splashes of diluted green and copper paint.

Hello to all my creative friends.

I am sharing a new layout as Design Team member 

for 13arts with you all today where I tore  

papers from the Carmen collection 

and adhered them to a sheet from the 

Queen of the Night collection.

I tore papers from the Carmen collection

I added white glitter strips to modeling paste 

to stencil onto the background of my layout.  

Once the paste dried, the glitter gave it 

a "feathered" look.

I also stenciled onto my background with 

black gesso and gel medium and then, 

once dry, I lightly added white gesso 

to the stenciling with my finger.

I painted my resin pieces with black gesso

and then, once dry, I lightly brushed

them with white gesso.

I added cut-outs and flowers to frame 

my photograph and then lightly brushed 

everything with white gesso.

Hello creative friends.

I am sharing another single layout as 

Brand Ambassador for Penelope Dee using the 

beautiful new TIDAL FLORALS collection.

I prepared the background of this layout by 

stenciling onto my main page, around my 

centre composition, with crackle mousse, 

leaving it to dry so that the cracks would form.

I layered cut-outs and flowers to 

frame my photograph.
